Research determines how your economy, military, and Behemoth capabilities scale over the course of a campaign. Below are recommended research priorities by faction philosophy.

League of Order — Economy First

Order players benefit most from front-loading economic research, since their territory bonuses already compound resource production.

1. Resource production techs (Gold, then Energy)
2. Defensive structure techs (synergizes with their +5% structure defense bonus)
3. Combat techs last, once the economic lead is established

Wildlands — Military First

Wildlands players should prioritize combat and mobility research to maximize their early-aggression window before rivals scale up.

1. Attack and troop movement speed techs
2. Rally cooldown reduction
3. Economic techs only after securing an early territorial advantage

Forest Guardians — Sustain First

Forest Guardian players benefit from research that reinforces their attrition-based playstyle.

1. Healing and regeneration techs
2. Crowd control duration techs
3. Territory-control techs to maximize their hold-the-line bonuses
